EDWARD?

Edward is a melodic, but at the same time very hard-rocking band from Southern Finland. The band was formed in September 2003 in a very small, but nicely authentic little town called Järvenpää. The name "Edward" comes from the movie "Edward Scissorhands", because our lead singer quite frankly adores Tim Burton’s movies.

All the members of the band are committed to the music with their hearts and this is shown whenever the band is playing live. A huge rush of energy combined with beautiful melodies, roughness, distortion, melancholy and sensitivity makes a very, very good mix.

The 'Songs to Unchain Hidden Hopes' tour is over! Gigs were just amazing and we got to see lots of new places. Big thanks to every supporter, who came to see us! Now we're having a little gig break, because we're writing and recording new material. But we'll see soon! There are new pictures from the tour on Media page + we're updating the tour blog as much as possible with new photos and videos.
