The album is done! On 2nd of April we're starting our 'Songs to Unchain Hidden Hopes Tour 2010' from Järvenpää's RT Partyhouse. That is the first chance for you boys and girls to buy the debut album and some fancy tour shirts. Make sure you don't miss that show.

We participated in Radio Rock Starba competition with a new song 'Born Again', which is the opening track of the album. So, now we need all the votes we can get from you. Some gigs have been cancelled, but don't you boys and girls worry. There is a huge amount of new gigs coming later. But right now we need to take our time and really concentrate on writing new material as much as possible, because there will be a full lenght Edward album coming also.

There is a new single and a music video coming up. The single is called "Try to Make it Last" and it is to be released on early April. We're having the single's release party at RT Partyhouse in Järvenpää on Thursday the 9th of April. Fortunately, the following day is good friday, so you don't have to worry about working or going to school that day.

In case you're wondering, how come we aren't playing as many gigs as we were in 2008, here's some clarifying information for you. Right now, we're concentrating on writing new material because there might be a full length album coming at some point. But we'll let you know more about that when things are on more solid ground.

"A Life to be Unreal" music video is finally here. You can donwload it from the music page. There are two versions (low and medium) available. HD version is coming soon.

In case, the video doesn't work properly on your computer, don't worry. There are more smaller files (e.g. YouTube, MySpace and iPod versions) coming as soon as possible.

It's us, on the radio! You can listen us play 8 unplugged songs and talk some sarcastic rubbish on Radio Reaktori this Saturday and Monday.

The program we're on is called "Acoustic+" and it airs on:
Saturday, the 19th of April at 7pm - 8pm (klo 19.00 - 20.00)
Monday, the 21st of April at 9pm - 10pm (klo 21.00 - 22.00)

If you're living near Helsinki, you can listen the program through a regular radio. The frequency is 100,00 Mhz. In other situation, you can listen an MP3 stream on Radio Reaktori's website. Click HERE to go there.

Edward made it to the semifinals of Alkupiste band competition! So, we will be playing at Rytmikorjaamo, Seinäjoki on the 15th of February with 5 other bands. Winner of the competition will be playing live at Provinssirock 2008!

We did it! Edward's new single "Back Home" won the whole demo contest on YleX. Big thanks to everyone who voted for us! We really appreciate it. Fortunately, the voting doesn't end here.

By winning the demo contest we managed to get our song to YleX's Himotuimmat playlist. Back Home will appear there this Saturday (17th) and then you can go and vote us again so that we'll stick there as long as possible. Make the ED-word go around. Take a short cut by clicking HERE.

There is an interview from last summer's Semioradio program available at the bottom of the music section. We are talking about music and playing few of our songs unplugged. The sound quality is quite crappy, the file size is quite big and the interviewees are quite bad, but we hope you'll enjoy it anyways.

After many long and dark hours, a brand new Edward site is finally here! We hope you all enjoy it. Make sure to check out the new, fancy Simpleviewer powered galleries.

But that isn't all. Edward will start recording a new single called "Back Home" on the 27th of July at Frontier Studios in Helsinki. The record is to be produced by our loyal engineer JP "Dr. Zoidberg" Yliselä. The upcoming record will include 2 new songs. Again there will be a couple of studio diaries to read and watch so that you can see what it takes to make a record with these guys.
